Young people from Asia and the Pacific region apply to attend the APFSD Youth Forum 2021

Sustainable and Resilient Recovery from the COVID-19 Pandemic in Asia and the Pacific: Youth at the Forefront of Accelerated Transformation (14-16 March)The annual APFSD Youth Forum is the dedicated space for young people from across Asia and the Pacific region working on diverse sustainable development issues, to discuss and deliberate on the theme of APFSD every year. This year, the Youth Forum will be held virtually on 14-16 March 2021 and will focus on the impact of COVID-19 at local, national, and regional levels and recommend youth inclusive recovery solutions to accelerate transformation for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda in the Asia Pacific region.

In addition, cluster SDGs on poverty (SDG1); hunger ( SDG2); health and well-being (SDG3); full and productive employment and decent work for all (SDG8); reduced inequalities (SDG10); sustainable consumption (SDG12); climate action (SDG13); peace justice and strong institutions (SDG16); and partnerships for the SDGs (SDG 17) will be discussed.

Important Notes:

  • 1. Application deadline: 19 February 2021 (12 midnight Bangkok, Thailand time)
  • 2. Young people (30 years old and below) from youth-led, youth-serving organisations, and youth movements from Asia and the Pacific are eligible to apply
  • 3. Selected young people will be notified before the 26th of February
